A Florida couple is celebrating their wedding ceremony after two weeks of honeymooning together.
Amber K. and Jeremy S. were initially scheduled to wed in Hawaii on Sunday, but the wedding was delayed when Jeremy needed to undergo knee surgery.
“I’ve been told we’re going to get married in a couple of days,” Amber told ABC News.
After Amber’s surgery, Jeremy underwent a series of surgeries and Amber’s heart condition began to deteriorate. “
We were supposed to get the wedding in August, but we just didn’t have enough time.”

Jeremy had a series a blood clot, which kept him from breathing and prevented him from using his arms.
“He’s pretty strong and I’ve never seen him this weak, but it was just too much,” Amber said.
Jeremy’s wife, Ashley, told ABC that Jeremy had no idea they were getting married until he was diagnosed with a blood clots.
“We’re both happy,” she said.
“He’s very happy and we’re excited to get our wedding day under way.”
Jeremy and Amber will officially be married on Sunday in Hawaii.
They said the ceremony will be held in a church in Kona, Hawaii, and the reception will take place in Kilauea, Hawaii.ABC News’ Kelly Kline contributed to this report.
